Area-I conducted flight testing of its RECHARGE (Reactive Controller for Harvesting Gust Energy) platform in Eastman, Georgia during the week of August 29th. The purpose of the flight test was to evaluate RECHARGE in the presence of wind gusts. The flight test evaluated the RECHARGE system’s ability to augment the autopilot system to increase range during a representative autonomous mission.
